ABOUT ME
I'm Meg — I help travel businesses manage risk, prepare for crises, and build safety systems that actually hold up when it matters, not ones that just tick a box.
With over 16 years in the travel industry, across multiple brands and a stint in Emergency Response for the Red Cross, I know what good standards look like. This doesn’t just mean having the paperwork in order but it means having a team, that manages risk day-to-day and knows exactly what to do when something goes wrong. Throughout my career I have been a duty manager and have experience in managing everything from major incidents overseas to lost passports, so I can draw on a wealth of experience and real-life examples.
My passion for this industry started when I got my first job as a tour leader, so I know what it is like on the ground and what it takes to deliver high quality and safe trips. My operations roles have given me the opportunity to develop my training skills and I have trained hundreds of guides and DMC teams across the world from Ghana to Malaysia to Peru. I have delivered company wide crisis training for 80+ team members and trained London councils on how to respond to emergencies. I can design training specific to your company and your team's needs.
I will work with you to find the gaps in your business and to fix them. I will support your team to make you as prepared as possible for whatever happens. So, if you feel your team could benefit with some straightforward and practical support, get in touch.
